Share what Claude makes
Ask Claude for a document, a chart, a page or a small app and it builds one beside the chat — an artifact. Here’s how to get it to a colleague.
Ask for it
Say what you want at the end of any answer: “turn this into a one-page summary”, “chart these numbers”, “build me a calculator for this”. Claude builds it beside the chat and leaves a card in the conversation.
Who’s it for?
Your Claude Team — send a link
Open the artifact, choose Copy → Share artifact, then Share & copy link. Anyone in your Claude Team can open it — along with any files attached to that conversation. If the thread had something sensitive in it, rebuild the artifact in a fresh chat before you share.
Another Claude Team — send a file
R&D, Frontline, and the rest of the company each have their own Claude Team, so a share link stops at the team boundary. Open the Copy menu and download the artifact — it comes in its own format, Download as HTML for a page — then send that file. If they need a PDF or a Word document, ask Claude for one — that’s a separate request, and it arrives as a file in the chat rather than as an artifact.
Cowork and Claude Code work differently — a Cowork live artifact shares the same way, has no download, and keeps showing live data to anyone with the link, while Claude Code leaves the page as a file in your project already.
